The Adachi Museum of Art is recognized as Japan’s most beautiful garden. It has received Three Stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan. Since 2003, the US magazine The Journal of Japanese Gardening has named the Adachi Museum of Art Gardens the most beautiful Japanese garden in the world. The “Gardening Team”

Every morning, seven gardeners meticulously tend to the garden. They prune the red pine trees yearly to remove unnecessary branches and change trees as needed.

The museum houses a collection of Japanese artworks by Yokoyama Taikan and Kitaoji Rosanjin. It was built by Adachi Zenko, a local entrepreneur in 1970, around the concept of “harmony of a Japanese garden with Japanese art.”
